She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jones and Sally Jones; her husband Alton Oakes; her siblings, Clarence Jones, Shelly Jones, Doris Bush and Datha Simpson; her grandson Aaron Oakes; and her pet Maggie.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah Hennis; her children, Terry Oakes (Judy), Tommy Oakes, Shelly Oakes and Renee Lawson (Arnie); and her grandchildren, Whitley Oakes, Kathryn Martindale, Scott, Autumn Oakes, Betty, Seth Jones, Elizabeth, Logan Gott, Alexandra and Geoff Schoeffel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Sheridan or the American Cancer Society.
