He was predeceased by : his parents, Billie Faye (Vastine) and Clifton Norman Sartin; his siblings, Judie Gates and Charles Sartin; and his nephews, Bart, Kenneth and Phillip Sartin.

He is survived by : his wife Gail Sartin; his sons, John Sartin (Bridget) and Joshua Sartin (Vaquessa); his grandchildren, Collin, Jackson, Hayden, Brendie and Brendan; and his brother Gary Sartin (Malynda).
