It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Thomas Hamby of Hensley, Arkansas, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd Hamby, Frankie and Bill Bryant; his uncle Kenneth Strange; his great-grandparents, Clarence Lily and Edith Crane; his great-aunt Ocylene Hamby; and his pet Duke.
He is survived by: his parents, Chuck Hamby and Kelley Hamby (Strange); his sister Edie Hamby; his grandmother Sara Hamby; his niece Charlie Kate; his uncles, Rusty Hamby and Keith Strange (Kim); his cousins, Tyler Hamby, Seth and McKayla Strange; and his girlfriend Shay-Lynn Riddle.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the East Union Missionary Baptist (20422 N Springlake Rd, Hensley, AR 72065).
