He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd Hamby, Frankie and Bill Bryant; his uncle Kenneth Strange; his great-grandparents, Clarence Lily and Edith Crane; his great-aunt Ocylene Hamby; and his pet Duke.
He is survived by: his parents, Chuck Hamby and Kelley Hamby (Strange); his sister Edie Hamby; his grandmother Sara Hamby; his niece Charlie Kate; his uncles, Rusty Hamby and Keith Strange (Kim); his cousins, Tyler Hamby, Ashley Strange, Amy Jenkins, John Strange, Seth Strange and McKayla Strange; and his girlfriend Shay-Lynn Riddle.
