It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Potts of Hensley, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his children, Kathy, Gene and Gary Potts. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Potts; and his children, Ricky Potts (Gayle) of Hensley and Bonnie Stratton (Jerry) of Sheridan. He is also survived by three sisters; 9 grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren as well as a host of friends.
