It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A Turner of Hickory Plains, Arkansas, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Turner and Myrtle Turner; his wife Ruby; his son James Danny Turner; and his sisters, Gladys Putt, Ardath Rogers and Neicy Covington.
He is survived by: his children, Bonita Cook (David) of Austin, Donna Martin (Gene) of Jonesboro and Donald Turner (Melissa) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his brother Doyne Turner of Hickory Plains. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
