It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Payne of Hindsville, Arkansas, born in Weatherford, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Glen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Glen. Though Glen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Payne and Mabel Payne; and his siblings, David Payne and Avis Lane. He is survived by: his siblings, Gene Payne of Rogers and Lois Dickinson of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Glen's name may be made to the Clifty Freewill Baptist Church, Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
