He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Henry Adams and Mary Elizabeth Purdom Adams; his wife Joye Mae Richardson Adams; his daughter Pamela Carole Adams; and his siblings, Virginia Greer, Bill Adams, Jacky Adams and Ricky Joe Adams.
He is survived by : his daughter Brenda Kay Adams Lockhart (Ross); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lockhart Batie (Doug), Christopher R. Lockhart (Sara), Amanda Lockhart Adams (Shawn), Joshua E. Lockhart and Cortney Pangle Carlson (Kelly); and his siblings, Janis McHaney and Johny Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and 13 great-grandchildren.
