He was predeceased by: his parents, Q. Z. Young and Leola Adams; and his wife Barbara Jean Young. He is survived by: his children, Brenda, Sherry Young, Ashley Young, Theodis Young Jr., Michael Young and Rita Kone; his close friend Joyce Harp; and his great grandchild Sa'Narii Young.
