He is survived by: his wife Lucille Rushing Hawthorne; his children, Jerry Hawthorne (Bridget), Oaktree Richards (Rachael), Dianne Hawthorne, Lena Cox (Bill), Susan Been (Bill) and Eva Jumper (Jason); his stepdaughters, Pam Klein, Kathy Poindexter (Norman) and Patty Wicker; and also David Applegate. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
