He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Joyce Stout Newton and Gerald Henry Sims; and his stepfather Kenneth Newton. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughters, Traci Sims Baugh (Clay) of Bryant, AR., Stephanie Griffin of Heber Springs, AR. and Bobbie Caubble (Jeff) of Heber Springs, AR.; his grandchildren, Layton Charles, Laci DeAnna, Abigail Joyce, Leah Adelle, Ella Leigh, Lucille "Luci" Louise, Anabelle Joann, Lillian Pearl, Alexander "Alex" Howard and Lilah Marie; his sister Cindy Newton Henderson (Billy Henderson) of Rison, Arkansas.; his niece Lily Henderson; and his great-niece Zoey. He is also survived by three daughters, ten grandchildren, an amazing sister and brother-in-law, a niece and great-niece, and a lifetime of friends.
