He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Dearmore (A. D.) and Marjorie Iola Watkins (Smith); and his sister Susan Kay Couch-Lane (Harlan) of Houston. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Watkins; and his children, Sandy Jester (Scott) of Hope, Phillip Watkins (Susan) of Huntsville, David Watkins (Jackie) of Highland Village, TX and Steven Watkins of Shepherdsville, KY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
