We announce the death of Marilyn Long (Hope, Arkansas), who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline Reece and Clarance Carson; her grandparents, Willie and Carl Reece; her husband Hansford Jerry Long; and her friend Mary Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Long and Mary (Willard Willmon); her grandchildren, Andrew Long (Casey), Michele Perkins (Kenny), Corrie Farris, Emily Hamilton (David) and Nathalie Willmon; her brother-in-law Henry Long (Marie); and her nephews, Hank, Jr. Long (Michele), Jerry Wayne Long (Leslie) and Keith Long (Melisa). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home (1001 S Main St, Hope, AR 71801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Unity Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas, in Mary'lin's memory.
