She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Martin and Rosa Martin; her husband Freeman Smith; her granddaughter Britney Dickerson; and her siblings, Bob Martin, Junior Martin, Billy Martin, Neil Martin, John Martin, Nan Hicks and Marie Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Smith (Donna) of Cale, AR, Walter Smith (Shannon) of Cale, AR, Ann Halcomb (Chuck) of Delight, AR and Susan Dickerson (Eddie) of Hope, AR; her grandchildren, Jonathan Dickerson, Russell Smith, Jacki Smith, Hanna Hernandez, Haley Rather, Meagen Watson, Hunter Smith and Lauren Hawkins; and her siblings, Dale of Cale, AR, Shirley Martin of Cale, AR, Richard Martin (Brenda) of Cale, AR, Vickie Bailey (Johnny) of Stephens, AR, Betty Winters (Tommy) of Camden and Rosie Raines of Cale. She is also survived by Twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
