He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Andrew and Lena Mary Stevenson Whatley; his siblings, Henry Whatley, James Whatley, Marjorie Stone and Sue Gray; and his grandson Brandon "Bruno" Kidd.
He is survived by: his wife Ophelia Collins Whatley of Spring Hill, AR; and his children, Donna Lemley of Spring Hill, AR, Danny (Teresa Whatley), Judy (Mark Anderson) and Terry (Wendi Whatley). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
