She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudge James and Ludie Riter James; her siblings, John James, Cleo Huchingson, Cleta Hollingsworth, Faye Hollihan and Delana Maloy; her granddaughter Malissa Satterwhite; and her great grandchild Bradin Sinyard.

She is survived by: her husband Bill Otis of Hope, Arkansas; her children, Bill Otis II (Angela) of Little Rock, Jeff Otis (Angel) of Hope, Arkansas and Cathy Aaron (Gary) of Hope, Arkansas; her siblings, Rex James of Malvern, Arkansas and Karen Maloy of Beebe, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Tyler Otis, Kyle Otis, Christy Burns, Morgan Satterwhite, Tabitha Thrash, Jeffrey Otis, Brandon Otis and Courtney Otis. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
