He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Hunter; his close friend Rebecca Peden; his daughter Amanda Samples (Dan); his grandchildren, Maylee, Emma, Becca Samples and Jack Samples; his sister Alicia Hunter; his nieces, Stacey Smith (Andy) and Valerie Hopkins; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jazlynn Ward, Kinsley Smith, Hunter Kelley and Jaxson Ward.
