It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alvin Blocker of Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Blocker and Cora Halsell Blocker; his wife Marcell Blocker; his siblings, Genell Johnson (Mike), Vonise Meredith (Vell), Sarvous Blocker (Nancy) and Alton Blocker; and his son-in-law Mark Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Harvey (Gary), Desiree Moore, Gina Voudren and Byron Blocker; his grandchildren, Jason Harvey (Crystal), Chase Voudren, Caylie Voudren, Haley Moore and Hannah Panko (Cole); and his great grandchildren, Ian Voudren and Sadie Voudren. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Caring Place, 101 Quapaw Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71901.

“Gina, Desi and Linda..I am so sorry for the loss of your dad..I have so many memories of him from hanging out at your house like "all the time". Your mom and dad both treated me like their fourth daughter. I can remember Mr. Blocker singing "I'm not Lisa" for a good while everytime he saw me..that is such a great memory for me. I do know He and Mrs. Blocker are now back together as it should be...i'm sure they are planning their adventures as I type this.”
