She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Mickens and Alice Mickens; her husband Jerry Rucker; and her siblings, Bobby Mickens and Evelyn Cochran.
She is survived by: her sons, Glen Rucker (Cara) and Jeff Rucker (Stephanie); and her brothers, Richard Mickens (Pam) and Johnny Mickens (Roseanne). She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
