She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Mitchell and Mary Ella Shaw Murders; her husband Obie Turner; her siblings, Elva Rosenthal, Jessie Redwine, Betty Johnson, Leo Murders, R. C. Murders, Lonnie Murders and Robert Murders (Alvin); and her children, Gregory Monte of Randy Monte, SR, Chris Turner and Crystal Turner.

She is survived by: her son Cody Turner; her brother Larry Murdock of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Olivia Booher, Casey Monte, Kolby Turner of Randy Monte, JR, Issac Beck and Sarah Nichole Littlejohn; and her great grandchildren, Saveda Grace Monte and Randy Monte III.
