He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Wilson and Charlotte Searcy Pitts; his siblings, Earl Pitts, Tom Pitts and Nancy Montgomery; and his daughter Kathy Wilson Black.

He is survived by: his sons, Tony Wilson and Robert Wilson; his sister Sue Tims; his grandchildren, TJ, Nikki Wilson, Chevy, Lauren Wilson, Keily and Derek Bozeman; and his great grandchildren, Nyxin Wilson, Jolene Wilson, Allison Wilson and Jessi Wilson. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
