He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sanders and Lula Sanders; his brother Calvin Sanders; and his grandson Brennan Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evan Sanders; his children, Donnie Sanders Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shelly Bumgarner (Bobby) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Todd Sanders (Linda) of St. Louis, Missouri; his stepsons, Ron and David Murray of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and his sister Brenda Anderson (Bobby). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home (155 Section Line Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71913). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
