She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Buxton Sr.; and her parents, Felix Meredith DePierre and Bettye Jo DePierre Conine. She is survived by: her children, Edward Buxton Jr. (Joy Black) and Annie Pettit (Brandon Pettit); and her grandchildren, Layne Elmore, Keelie Elmore and Camber Buxton.
