She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McKeown and Edna McKeown; and her brother James McKeown. She is survived by: her husband Everett "Ed" Staton; her daughters, Shannan Waddell (Larry) of Fort Lauderdale and Scarlett Pifer (Jason) of Harrison, Arkansas; her brother Frank McKeown (Kay) of Laurel, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Julian Willard, Canyon Willard, Stella Waddell, Sterling Waddell, Louis Waddell and Brodie Ormond. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Hot Springs.
