She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Anderson and Louise Anderson; and her siblings, Janie Braswell and David Anderson. She is survived by: her husband L. D. Murders; her children, Mikal Murders, Kathryn Renae Boyles and Tiffany Gentry (Doug); her siblings, Joyce Carpenter (David), Clyde Anderson Jr. (Renee) and Cindy Wilson; and her grandchildren, Kathlena Boyles, Liam Gentry and Olly Gentry. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
