She was predeceased by: her parents, August Oppe and Anna Oppe; her husband Robin Boren; her granddaughter Kelly Rubelowski; and her son-in-law Jeff Bearden.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Smith (Daniel), Robin Boren (Kim), Thomas Boren (Kristen), Elizabeth Weaver and Michelle Bearden. She is also survived by 3 siblings, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
