She was predeceased by: her parents, G. C. Blount and Orlene Blount; her daughter Carol Ruth; her husband Thurman; and her sons, Joel and Dan.
She is survived by: her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Paula Braughton of Plano, Texas; her daughters, Tanni Braughton and Melissa Braughton (Royce Duncan); her sister Millie Dove of Benton, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Bryn Braughton (Autumn), Micah Braughton (Amanda), Jacob Braughton, Caleb Braughton, Benjamin Braughton (Jazmyn), Nathan Braughton, Abbie Braughton, Aaron Braughton and Wanda Adams; and her great grandchildren, Duncan Adams, Michaela Adams, Acacia Braughton, Velda Ellora Grace Braughton and Gideon Micah Braughton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers Kathie be remembered through memorials in her memory to the International Mission Board.
