Murrell left this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sheets and Zella Sheets. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his grandchildren, Amy, Justyn Payne, Chloe Sheets, Abigail Sheets, Emily Sheets, Hezekiah Heard and Hadassah Heard; his children, Jeffrey (Beth Sheets), Gregory (Becky Sheets) and Jil'Lana (Dustin Heard); his brothers, Wayne (Gwen Sheets) and Glenn (Rebecca Sheets); and his nieces and nephews, Sara Sheets, Eric Sheets, Lyndolyn Stuart, Lance Sheets, Todd Merriott, Sean Merriott, Zach Newcomb, Clay Newcomb and Tyler Newcomb.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Rd, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71913). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Oma Cemetery.
