He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson Sr. and Beaulah Hunter Johnson Wesson; his wife Frances Davis Johnson of Los Angeles, California.; and his siblings, Larry Johnson, Robert Johnson Jr., Cal Johnson, Eliza Mae Johnson-Jordan and Annie L. Johnson-Guinn.
He is survived by: his children, Dewayne Johnson, Regina Johnson and Derek Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Mariah Johnson and Jalen Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
