Sarah Harris Obituary
We announce the death of Sarah Harris of Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 86. Sarah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Baswell and Virgina Baswell; and her grandson Jessie Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Don Harris; her children, Holly Beth Miller (Cameron) and Jeff Harris (Tami); her siblings, Bill Baswell (Cindy) and Becky Cordell; her grandsons, Robert Maughan (Charlye), Blane Irwin (Murphy) and Joshua Harris; and her great grandchildren, Malek Hearnsberger (Austyn), Brody Maughan (Haddee), Ty Maughan (Emma), Nathan Taylor, Eden Maughan and Harris Irwin.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gross Funeral Home Chapel (120 Wrights St, Hot Springs, AR 71913). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2868 Airport Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71913).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church or to the Jessie Garrett Memorial Scholarship at National Park College.
