He is survived by: his friends, Rodney Tollette and James "Duck" White; his children, Sidney Joshua Thompson and Morgan Chamberlain; his grandchildren, TyRee Garrett, Riley Thompson, Tatum Thompson, Leighton and Madison; his brothers, Danny Thompson Sr. (Nakisha) and Raymond Thompson Sr. (Debbie); his caregiver Lisa Regina "Gina" Collins-Wade (Willie Wade Jr.); his siblings, Larry Collins and Anita Evans-Davis; his uncles, William "Billy" Fort and Kenny Fort (Yvonne); and his nephew J. C.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
