As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Tony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his niece Tiffany Simmons; his mother Ethel Lee McKinley Carter; his siblings, Claiborne William Carter, Gretchen Simmons (Robert) and Baysell Carter; and his children, Anthony and Jari.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sanderson Funeral Homes, Inc. (901 Main St N, Carthage, TN 37030-1002). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
