It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vinnie M. Maroney of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born in Hartman, Arkansas, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Gipson and Mary Elizabeth Riley; her siblings, Florance McGath, Chester Gipson, Ralph Gipson and Edgar Gipson; and her husband Tom Maroney.

She is survived by : her sister Alvina Graves; her daughters, Mary Kay Wurm (Mike) of Hot Springs and Dee Garrett of Hot Springs; her grandchildren, Julie McNerlin (Andrew), Keith Eifert and Laura Wurm; her great grandchildren, Adalyn and Garrett McNerlin; and also, Gail, Susan and Charles. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist (127 E Page Ave, Malvern, AR 72104).

Memorials may be made in Vinnie's memory to First United Methodist Church, Garland County Humane Society or Malvern Animal Shelter.
