He was predeceased by : his parents, John Gould and Ruth Ida Fletcher (Durham) of Little Rock. He is survived by : his children, Cynthia Lee and Johnny Robin; his friend Lois Ruth Shue Knight; his sister Nancy Fletcher; his son Mike Knight; his sons-in-law, Tommy Yates and Randy Couch; his grandchildren, Thomas Yates, Alex Fletcher and Amanda Yates; his great grandchild Olivia Blum; his wife Lois Fletcher; his children, Cindy Yates, Rhonda Couch, Debbie Buck (Ken), Rob Fletcher (Lisa) and Rick Knight (Dawn); and his pet Toot. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the State Funeral Service (2620 W Main St, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
