With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Garry Russell of Houston, Arkansas, who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Russell (Taylor); his former wife Adair Russell; his close friend James Thomas Cater; his father Kenneth Russell; and his sisters, JoAnn Browning and Sharron Coffman.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Adair Hughes; his daughter Abigail Elizabeth (Eric) of Manvel; his grandchildren, Sadie Smith, Jackson Smith, Sage Smith (Kai) and Maisie Smith; his cousin Mark Taylor of Austin; his brother-in-law Tim Hughes (Leslie) of Prescott; his niece Elizabeth Anne Cater of Auburn; and his pet Bonnie.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his honor to "The Friends of Music" fund at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church or to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
