We announce the death of Margaret May Bennett of Hoxie, Arkansas, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 96. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Margaret will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Margaret will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Margaret’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Brewer and Ruth Brewer (Thomason); and her husband Bill Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Bennett (Regina), Ronnie Bennett (Betsy), Patsy Bennett and Freddie Bennett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the House-Gregg Funeral Home S. W. (S. W. 3RD & VINE ST. WALNUT RIDGE, Arkansas 72476). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Calvin Cemetery.
