He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wilson, Sr. and Willie Thompson-Wilson; his spouse Enola McNeal; his children, Micheal Wilson, Burnestine Starks and Sharon Oates; and his close friend C. S. Frazier.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Yalaunda Billingsley; his children, JoAnn McGregor, Jolinda Smith, Gardenia Graham, Carolyn Miller (Cornel), Faye Wilson, David Wilson, Barbara Cornelius (Gary), Cynthia Wilson and Kathy Williams (Mansfield Everett); his nephew Michael McNeil; his cousin Rev. Booker T. Wilson; his friend Austin Smith; and his close friends, Bobby Ables, Ann Hatch and Dora Driver. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
