Patsy Ables Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2025, at the age of 91, Patsy Ables (Humphrey, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Patsy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison West and Ida Medora West; her husband J. C. Ables; and her son Vic Woods. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Mitchell, Libby Hignight of Bismarck, AR and Mike Ables; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Woods of Royal, AR. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor her memory to make donations to Oaklawn Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, AR.
