He was predeceased by: his father Richard Haars; his sister Debra Denham; his brother-in-law Garrett "Gene" Denham; and his niece Virginia "Ginger" Denham. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Haars; his wife Janet Haars; his children, Kara Pittman and Andrew Haars; and his grandchildren, Leigha Howard, Dakotah Pittman, Chase Pittman, Patrick Haars and Austin Haars. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Central Christian Church (400 N Waldron Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72903). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
