He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Self Sr.; his sister Billie Jo Helton; his grandson Stetson Self; and his nephew Terry Lynn Pendergist III. He is survived by: his mother Wanell Self (Usery) of Huntsville; his close friend Shelly Hollenbeck; his siblings, Gerald Self Jr. of Huntsville, Brenda Landry (Terry) of Springtown, Karen Pendergist (Terry) of Jonesboro and Ronda Hight of Cullman, Alabama; and his sons, Michael Self (Kirstyn) of Huntsville, Anthony Self (Amanda) of Davie and Brett Self (Tara) of Huntsville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Madison County Funeral Service (4373 S Main St, Hindsville, AR 72738). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
