She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Vanhook; her parents, Pierce Kirk and Minnie Kirk; and her siblings, James Kirk, Charles Kirk, Earnest Kirk and Lela Lane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy (Kenny Comer) and Geraldine Bridges of Bentonville; and her friend Opal Mudd. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rambo Cemetery (9020 Cobble Ln, Rogers, AR 72756).
