He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladen Wilson Dockens Sr. and Inez Gibson Dockens; his sisters, Bonnie Wright and Lois Parker; and his son-in-law JB McCarroll.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Hufstedler Dockens; his children, Dana McCarroll of Wesson, MS., Amy Dockens Boutwell of Wesson, MS., Tonya Moore (Jamie) of Cape Girardeau, MO. and Greg Lawson (Mary) of Jonesboro, AR; his grandchildren, Lindsey Byrd (Taylor), CJ Duckworth (Candace), Ben McCarroll (Madison), Skyler Smith (Andrea), Katelin Smith, Conner Moore (Bailey), Amanda Sikes (Matthew), Garrett Boutwell (Nancy), Brett Boutwell and Rhealyn Roberts; and his sisters, Barbara Flowers, Gwen Ennis and Gladys Lane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel (2129 N Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Old Union Cemetery.
