James A. Anderson Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of James A. Anderson of Imboden, Arkansas. James, born on April 9, 1935, passed away on August 24, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James A. Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie James Anderson and Aenon Milligan Anderson; the mother of his children Pauletta Anderson; and his former wife Pru Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Garner Anderson; his children, James Allen Anderson (Brenda) of Strawberry, Mike Anderson of Cave City, Randy Anderson of Strawberry, Arkansas and Paula Hoggard (Paul) of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; and his stepchildren, Bobby Garner (Ann) and Donna Cole (Justin). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, Arkansas (123 W Main St, Batesville, AR 72501).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Milligan Campground Cemetery in Care of Debbie Doyle 143 Grange Road Cave City, AR 72521.
