He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Griffin and Lanora Guilford (Hill); and his brothers, Douglas Griffin, Steven Griffin and Anthony Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Griffin; and his children, Frank Barger of Newport, Stephen Barger of Newport, David Griffin Jr. (April) of Newport, Amy Conway of Newport, Amber Young (Steven) of Rosie and Kimberly Diaz (Jorge) of Balch. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
