She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga Chlapecka and Steve Chlapecka Sr.; her siblings, Marie and Steve Chlapecka Jr.; her husband Thomas Simpson; and her son Richard Simpson.
She is survived by: her sons, David Simpson (Regina Simpson) and Todd Simpson (Beth); her daughter-in-law Karen Simpson; her grandchildren, Blake Simpson (Kenzi), Brooke Simpson, Benjamin Simpson, Bradley Zaeske (Annie), Michael Simpson, Kale Simpson (Nancy) and Eric Simpson (Niki); and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Hadley Simpson, Ella Forrester, Keegan, Rhodes Simpson, Cooper, Carter Simpson and Emelia Zaeske. She is also survived by three sons, and a proud grandmother and great grandmother.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the State Funeral Service (2620 W Main St, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
