She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Durell Clay and Frank Emiline Steadman Clay; and her husband William Earl Smith (Billy). She is survived by: her children, Clay Smith, Becky Smith Settlemoir and Eddie Smith; and her grandchildren, Bethany, Raechel, Liam and Keelyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
