He is survived by: his daughter Lee Whetstone Ellis (Ben Ellis); his granddaughter Hallie Ellis; his wife Kim Whetstone; his stepchildren, C. C. and Betsy; his sister Martha Whetstone; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caroline Sykes (John Sykes), Tracy Nonweiler (David Nonweiler), Annie Zanobini (Jason Koller) and Kate Zanobini; Brian, Beau, Bud, Nick Pettus (Nicia), Olivia, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Oliver Lorgen Whetstone, Madison Lorgen, Sophie, Dalton, Jake Nonweiler and Miles Koller. He is also survived by extended family, colleagues, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Dalton Whetstone Boys and Girls Club or to Keith Jackson's Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids (P.A.R.K.) , both in Little Rock, to ensure his lifelong dedication to supporting local youth continues.
