He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Geneva Stroud (Bowman) and D. D. Stroud; his wife Chris Stroud; his children, Scott Stroud and Lauren Martin (Justin); his grandchildren, Piper, Beckham Stroud, Riley and Aubrey Martin; his sisters, Becky Davis, Betty Higgs and Janet Whisenant; his mother-in-law Virginia Frizzell; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Abrahamson and Debra Shumate (David). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
