He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kotlewski and Catherine Kotlewski; and his siblings, Norman Kotlewski, Elanor Brush and Alice Grevious.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kotlewski; his stepchildren, Tony Alardin (Katie), Lisa Whitesides (Gary) and Kelli Alardin-Martindill (Randy Simpson); his sister Clarice Cantu (Ray); his sister-in-law Mary Kotlewski; and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
