We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2024, at the age of 76, Edward Roland Carper (Jacksonville, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland Carper and Annaleise Carper. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Arnold Carper; and his sons, Chris (Amy) and Phillip (Stephanie).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River City Church, PO Box 5029, North Little Rock, AR 72119, in honor of Edward's dedication to serving others.

“Ed Carper has been my friend for over 25 years. He was a valued member of the staff at the Wood Craft shop at LRAFB where I first met him. He maintained the tools and equipment meticulously and was most willing to help me through some tasks I was ready to give up on. Whatever knowledge I have of woodworking accrues to him in large part. We have many pieces of furniture in our home that he advised on and serve as a legacy of Ed. Blessings to all his family from the McGaritys ❤❤”
