She is survived by: her sister Flora Powers (Ken) of Hollis; her children, Beverlee Cholewa (Rich) of Griswold, CT, Richard Anthony Gillis of Brooklyn and Tammy Southerland (Gary) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Shannon Stevenson, Gregory Cholwea of Griswold, CT, Matthew Gillis of Sherwood, Ashley Valdez of East Hampton, CT and Savannah Southerland of Jacksonville; her nephew James "Danny" Holt; her nieces, Tracy Farley and Melissa Edmonds; and her friend Caroline Dupree. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
